Poppy Line 1940's
The Poppy Line is the familiar name of the North Norfolk Railway that runs for 5 miles from Sheringham to Holt.
Some members of Caston Camera Club went along on both Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September to see the 1940's Event. The weather was good although interupted by a short shower around lunchtime. Nevertheless the crowds were as friendly as ever and we were able to obtain some really good images..
There were so many people in 1940's dress it was a delight to see. Nearby a war time band played all the popular songs of the 30's and 40's.
The pictures can be seen by clicking the Poppy Line Logo above - this will open in a new page.
