| Part of our aim as a camera club is to offer training to members on various different aspects of photography. Because this is not cheap to do in that a lot of preparation is required in order to set up the training sessions as well as additional costs for hall or studio hire and not all members are interested or indeed in need of these extra sessions, we do need to make a nominal charge for them. However, all profit does go to club funds so in the end everyone benefits. |

PhotoShop Elements

These are six week courses and cover all the basics of Elements and a bit more. While initially designed as practical courses for members who have a laptop computer, we have now adapted the course for those who do not have laptops.. Start images are supplied. All of the tutorial is projected on to a large screen and full key stroke by key stroke crib sheets are given out by email on the day following each week's work in order that practice can be undertaken at home. At the end of the course users will be very familiar with the most popular aspects of this programme. |

PhotoShop Elements

| We have successfully run a number of PhotoShop Elements and PhotoShop CS courses, all of which have been fully subscribed and will continue to run them as long as there is a demand for them. If such a course interests you then it's well worth getting your name down early for the next available course. All our courses have a lecturer who is assisted by a number of qualified "floorwalkers" to ensure no-one falls behind. |
PhotoShop CS
| Like the Elements course, these are six week courses and cover all the basics of Photoshop CS and a bit more. They are practical courses originally designed for members who have a laptop computer but we have now adapted the course to suit those without a laptop. Start images are supplied. All of the tutorial is projected on to a large screen and full key stroke by key stroke crib sheets are given out by email following each week's work in order that practice can be undertaken at home. At the end of the course users will be very familiar with the most popular aspects of this programme. If you are interested then we recommend placing your name down early for the next course. |

Portrait Workshops

| These six week courses are also oversubscribed and a number have now been successfully completed. They take place with backdrops, studio lighting and models in a studio environment in Saham Toney. The course covers camera, lens and lighting settings for those with SLR cameras, with plenty of practical work. We generally run with around one tutor to two students so plenty of assistance is on hand. If studio work interests you then it's worth getting your name down early for the next course.. |
