Props Required
As most of you will be well aware we are to hold a series of Portrait Workshops and Practical Evenings in the very near future. For those of you who are unaware of these do have a look at the 2008 Programme on the CCC web site.
What we need are lots of props that we can use - anything from hats, boas, costumes, trinkets, fancy apparel, even Dame Edna style glasses. Really almost anything that is bright unusual or just different. Also small items for Still Life set-ups such as vases, imitation flowers and unusual objects, again almost anything.
Please have a look to see if you can find any lengths of fine net and silks to tablecloths that are plain or patterned to help dress the sets. Clean plain white, or coloured large sheets would be especially welcome. Anything buried deep in your cupboards, drawers and in the airing cupboard can be of use.
Some interesting toys would be nice for those child images and again would be very welcome.
It’s certain everyone has something, so just bring it along to the next meeting.
It will all help you and fellow members improve their photography.
