This was the evening we had planned for visiting the Japanese gardens in Caston but the weather was against us.  The light faded early and a very fine rain started to descend.  We waited to the very last minute but in the end had to acknowledge that it just wasn't going to be practical to go ahead.  The owners, Kevin & Teresa fully understood and said we could visit again in the future.

So, plan 'B' was brought in to play and we enjoyed an evening, partly social with lots of chat and otherwise dedicated to close up photography - it worked out well in the end.
