Still Life
May 15th
For those of you who do not want any extra-curricular activity, please bring along a display of anything that is still life. It can be flowers or vegetables or simply some artifact that you have or can arrange on the night. There will be sufficient lighting available to take your photos but do bring a tripod if you have one. We will try to supply one or two extra tripods for those of you who are without them.
For those of you who are happy to do your own thing, please bring in your finished work for a table display. If possible please also bring in your subject matter for others to see the real thing in the "flesh".
And for a bit of fun, the committee will supply the necessary equipment for anyone who's interested, to take pictures of ice cubes splashing into red wine - okay, so it won't be real red wine but it will look like it. We can all have a go to see if we can get the timing right - not easy but very effective when you succeed.
You will need your camera, your flash gun if not built in to your camera and a tripod if you have one.
It should be a really good evening.
